The PowerInsight 2 uses non-invasive current transformer (CT) sensors that clamp around existing wires in your electrical panel without cutting wires or interrupting power. It monitors multiple circuits simultaneously — measuring real-time watt readings per circuit and per the whole home — and feeds all data directly to the EcoFlow app. For homes with solar, the PowerInsight 2 tracks solar generation against household consumption in real time, giving you your self-consumption ratio, grid import, and grid export data on a single unified dashboard. This level of visibility enables you to make meaningful daily decisions about when to run high-consumption appliances, whether to charge your EV from the grid or battery, and how much your solar is actually saving you.
