The EcoFlow PowerInsight is EcoFlow’s first-generation home energy monitor — a smart device that gives you real-time circuit-level visibility into every watt of electricity flowing through your home. By installing current transformers (CTs) on your electrical panel’s wiring, the PowerInsight measures energy consumption and solar production across individual circuits, displaying live data through the EcoFlow app so you always know exactly where your energy is going and where you can save.
Understanding your home’s energy consumption is the first step to reducing electricity costs and maximizing the value of a battery backup or solar system. The PowerInsight monitors multiple circuits simultaneously — showing real-time watt readings for each one — so you can identify energy-hungry appliances, spot unnecessary consumption, and make informed decisions about when to run high-draw devices. For homes with solar panels, it tracks generation and consumption simultaneously, showing your solar self-consumption rate and whether you’re importing from or exporting to the grid at any moment.
