Its finely tuned alloy composition is enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process to provide an excellent balance of toughness, edge holding, and corrosion resistance and makes it one of the premier mainstream blade steels in use today. The handle of this knife is injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) in MGE’s signature teal color. Skeletonized stainless steel liners nested within the handle give it impressive structural strength and provide a foundation for its high-strength back lock mechanism. Bi-Directional Texturing™ ensures a non-slip grip and a polished four-position clip offers a choice of right or left-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
