How we vet brandsBorn in Bozeman in 2005 around a simple idea: technical mountaineering apparel principles, applied to the western big-game hunter. Sitka's layering system — base, mid, insulating, shell — became the template for how mountain hunters dress two decades later. Tested in the Bridgers, refined in the Selway, worn from Alaska to the Andes.
