Product description
The CAA MCK Gen 3 conversion kit for the Ruger RXM gives Ruger's compact 9mm CAA's latest chassis design. Gen 3 is built for shooters who keep a micro red dot on the slide. It was the first MCK able to take a slide wearing an RMR-style optic, and you aim with your zeroed dot while the RXM sits in the kit.
Two charging handles let you set it up either way. Pick the Gen 3 handle, which has a backplate, when an optic rides on your slide. Reach for the standard polymer Gen 2 handle when it doesn't. Above the slide, 4.6-inch aluminum front and rear Picatinny rails leave room for any optic or sight you prefer.
Gen 3 also tackles cleanup. CAA's CAR-WASH system uses built-in bristles that clean the front of the slide while it cycles, and CAA says it does this without affecting the finish. A removable front adapter shields the inside of the kit from carbon. Pull it, rinse it and reinstall it.
Gen 2 basics carry over too, including the aluminum top rail and a spare magazine holder that has its own release button. Suppressors up to 1.56 inches in diameter fit. Colors are FDE Tan, Tungsten Grey, OD Green and Black, and CAA makes it in the USA. Look over your state and local laws, because some places restrict these kits.

Can I aim with the red dot already on my RXM's slide?
Yes, Gen 3 accepts a slide carrying a micro red dot or RMR, so you don't need a second optic on the top rail.
Which charging handle should I use?
Use the Gen 3 handle with the backplate if your slide carries an optic. Use the standard polymer Gen 2 handle if it doesn't.
How is this different from the Gen 2 RXM kit?
