Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph with Bluetooth

Every handloader knows the feeling. A load that grouped beautifully last month opens up today, and you are left guessing why. Velocity is the number that settles the argument, and the Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph with Bluetooth measures it shot by shot. Caldwell factory calibrates it to +/- 0.25% accuracy.

The Bluetooth link is what keeps that data useful after you pack up. The chronograph connects to your smart device and captures shot velocity in the Caldwell app, where you can also record the environmental conditions and the load data that go with each string. A good range day turns into notes you can look back on and repeat, instead of numbers scribbled on the back of a target.

It is not only for rifles. Caldwell built it for firearms, archery, airguns and paintball, whether you are testing load accuracy, keeping an eye on the speed of your arrows or making sure your paintballs are within field regulation. Extra-wide sun screens add shading when you shoot in full sun.

The Caldwell app is linked from Caldwell's product page for both Apple and Android devices. This listing is the chronograph itself, Caldwell part 4001147. If you also want a carry case, tripod and light kit, Caldwell sells those together with this chronograph as its Premium Kit.
