The blade is a 2.75 inch high flat grind drop point with a false swedge, a shape that gives you good penetration with a strong tip and solid cutting performance. Cutting edge length is 2.675 inches, with a 1 inch blade width. CobraTec chose 14C28N steel for edge retention, ease of sharpening and high toughness, and the 0.180 inch spine adds strength and comfort under your thumb.
The handle is where this fixed blade knife gets flexible. The G-10 scales are removable and held with stainless fasteners. Keep them on for a comfortable grip, take them off and run the knife skeletonized for the lowest profile, or wrap the frame in 550 paracord for a custom handle that balances comfort and weight.
