The outer shell is 100 percent polyester in a 3-layer waterproof, windproof and breathable build with a DWR finish. A YKK Vislon main zipper with inner and outer storm flaps, a hood with 3-point adjustability and hook-and-loop cuffs help keep wind and rain out. Micro-brushed tricot lines the hood and collar, and the upper and lower handwarmer pockets are tricot lined too, so cold hands have a soft place to recover.

Storage covers the essentials: a vertical Magnattach chest pocket and large waist pockets for calls, shells and gear.

Inside, the liner jacket uses a tightly woven ultra-lightweight nylon shell over 3 oz (100 gsm) synthetic down insulation, with a Vislon zipper and a self-packable design. Wear it zipped into the shell on cold sits, alone when the rain quits, or pack it down when the sun comes up.
