Each shaft uses a dual composition of aluminum and carbon. Easton designs the two materials to work together for node consistency and precision. The slim 3.2mm diameter supports greater energy downrange and less wind drift, and the true parallel design makes setup easier.

Tolerances are tight: straightness is held to ±.001", and weight tolerance is ±0.5 grains in precise weight codes.
