Hunter Safety System SlapStrap Combo with 8 ft. Ropes

You are halfway up the tree in the dark, one hand on a step, and your lineman's belt needs adjusting. The Hunter Safety System SlapStrap Combo is built for that moment, giving saddle hunters a simpler way to manage the belt and tether while climbing and setting up.

The coiled steel SlapStrap wraps the tree and uses a Tender Hitch design, so you can adjust your lineman's belt and tether rope with one hand. It keeps the lineman's belt from slipping behind the tree, which helps you stay secure and stable as you work. Because the strap holds the rope away from the trunk, it also cuts down on rope wear from bark contact.

MOLLE loops on the strap keep the gear you reach for most close at hand. The setup is designed to remove the need for extra pieces like dump pouches and mechanical ascenders, so your kit stays lean. The SlapStrap itself weighs 1.5 lbs without the accessory pouches.

This saddle hunting combo includes one SlapStrap, two 8-foot ropes and two rope/accessory pouches. Carabiners are not included, so you can run the ones that fit your preferred climbing system. If you hunt from a saddle and want fewer parts and quicker adjustments, the Hunter Safety System SlapStrap Combo is worth a look.
