Mossberg 500 Fully Rifled Slug Barrel, 12 Gauge, 24 in., Rifle Sights, Matte Blue

A buck steps out of the cedars at the edge of a cut field, and you need your shotgun to throw a slug where the sights say it will. The Mossberg 500 slug barrel is built for that moment, giving your 12 gauge Mossberg 500 or Maverick 88 6-shot a dedicated setup for slugs.

This 24 inch barrel is fully rifled, so it is meant for slug shooting rather than shot. Adjustable rifle sights let you dial in your point of impact instead of relying on a single bead. The 3 inch chamber handles 3 inch and shorter 12 gauge shells, and the barrel is ported.

It is made of steel with a matte blued finish that keeps glare down in the woods. Note that this barrel is not threaded for interchangeable chokes, which fits its role as a dedicated slug barrel.

If you already carry a Mossberg 500 for birds, swapping to this Mossberg 500 slug barrel lets one receiver cover both bird season and deer season.
