October Mountain Ozark Hunter 68 in. Longbow

You are settled against an oak with a doe working toward you, and the only sound you want is the soft thump of a string. The October Mountain Ozark Hunter longbow is built for that kind of quiet, close shot, with a traditional design aimed at combining performance with a smooth draw.

The riser is made from hard maple and walnut, shaped into a sleek handle and limb design that reduces hand shock, so the bow sits calmer in your grip after the release. Black fiberglass limbs carry reinforced limb tips, and the bow is Fast Flight string compatible, giving you room to choose your string material.

This longbow measures 68 in. and comes in right hand draw weights of 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55 lbs., with left hand models in 45 and 50 lbs. The recommended brace height is 8 in. to 8 3/4 in., a useful starting point as you tune it to your arrows.

If you want a straightforward traditional bow for stump shooting, practice and hunting season, the Ozark Hunter longbow gives you natural wood, fiberglass limbs and a draw meant to feel smooth from anchor to release.
