Product description
A buck works along the edge of a cut cornfield, and you need to settle in without a sound and get ready to shoot. The Ravin R29X crossbow package is built around that quiet moment, from the way you cock it to the way you aim.
Start with the numbers. The R29X is rated at 450 fps with a 12.5-inch power stroke, and it measures just 10.5 inches axle to axle. That narrow frame is easier to swing in a blind or a tree stand.
Cocking is handled by the Versa-Draw Cocking System, which takes about 12 pounds of force and works from either side. It is part of a fully integrated Silent Cocking System that pairs with the Trac Trigger Firing System. The arrow and string free float above the rail, which is designed to increase string and cable life and improve accuracy. The cams rotate 340 degrees and stay level while you draw and shoot.
An anti-dry fire auto safety adds protection, and built-in sling mounts help you carry the crossbow to your spot.
The package includes a 100-yard illuminated Speed Lock scope with red and green illumination and fully coated lenses, three Ravin .003 arrows with field points, a removable draw handle, and a quiver with mounting bracket. You can pick the R29X crossbow in Black or King's XK7 Camo.
