Rain on the range, mud on the slide, a draw from the holster with gloves on. The SIG Sauer ROMEO-M17 enclosed red dot sight is built for pistols that get carried and used in those conditions, and it is designed exclusively for SIG SAUER M17 and M18 pistols with the SIG-LOC mounting interface.

The optical system is fully enclosed, sealed and purged, so debris and water have a harder time reaching the emitter. The housing is 7075 aluminum with an integrated gas deflector and anti-reflection grooves to cut glare, and drainage holes keep liquid from pooling as you move the pistol between vertical and horizontal positions.

You can select a 2 MOA red dot or a 32 MOA circle reticle independently. There are 15 brightness settings, including 3 for Gen 3+ night vision, plus Dark Adaptive Reticles and Coatings for low light. Brightness buttons are sized for gloved hands.

MOTAC motion activation and MAGNETAC magnetic activation help save power, and the CR2032 battery is rated for up to 50,000 hours at medium brightness. It changes through a side-mounted threaded cap, so you do not have to pull the optic. A very low deck height allows co-witness with standard-height sights, and windage and elevation adjust in 1.5 MOA tactile clicks.
