Product description

Stretch an AR-15 or AR-10 far enough and your scope runs out of elevation before the target runs out of distance. The Warne LR-SKEL mount builds a 20 MOA slope into the base, which Warne says frees up additional elevation adjustment in your optic for long-range precision work.

It is a one-piece cantilever mount for 30mm scope tubes, with more than 2 inches of forward cantilever. Warne added an extra inch of reach so scopes with large eye boxes can sit at proper eye relief, and the design leaves room behind the mount for accessories like Warne's A645 45-degree side mount adapter.

Warne CNC-machines the mount from 6061 aluminum and skeletonizes the body and ring caps to keep strength where it counts and drop weight where it doesn't. The whole mount weighs 6.7 oz. Steel threaded inserts take the cap screws, so the screws aren't threading straight into the aluminum.

The LR-SKEL sits at Warne's MSR Ideal Height and fits the AR-15, M4, SR-25, LR-308, PTR-91 and any other modern sporting rifle with a Picatinny rail at least 3 inches long. It is designed and made in the USA in matte black and backed by Warne's lifetime warranty.
