The CAA MCK Gen 1 conversion kit for the Smith & Wesson M&P 1.0 and 2.0 Full Size and Compact is CAA's original Micro Conversion Kit design, made to hold both generations of the M&P. CAA describes it as a lightweight, sturdy platform with an aluminum barrel shroud and a polymer body.
CAA has kept improving it. According to CAA, the kit was updated in May 2022 with a standard aluminum top rail and a magazine catch. That top rail takes a mix of sights and optics, and the side rails accept accessories such as thumb rests, a light or a laser.
One fit detail matters here. If your M&P has a manual safety lever, CAA says you'll need to remove it to use the pistol in the MCK. Beyond that, setup is simple: drop the pistol into the kit and lock it, with no disassembly needed. CAA lists the kit at 13.70 inches long, 5.70 inches tall and 2.48 inches wide.
You can choose Black, FDE Tan, OD Green or Tungsten Grey. CAA also makes a Gen 2 kit for these same M&P pistols if you'd rather have the newer design. Some states restrict pistol conversion kits, so look up your local rules first; we don't ship to those states.

Yes, if your M&P has a manual safety lever. CAA says the lever must be removed to use the pistol in the MCK.
