The CAA MCK Gen 2 conversion kit for the Canik TP9 SF, SA Mod.2, SFT, SFX, METE SFT and METE SFX brings CAA's Gen 2 platform to six Canik pistols.
CAA describes the TP9 and METE pistols as reliable, self-defense minded and loaded with features for the money. Not every Canik fits, though, so read the list closely. CAA lists the SFX Rival, METE SFT Pro and METE SFX Pro as not compatible, and the TP9 Elite models use a separate CAA kit.
Here's what Gen 2 adds over the original MCK. The rear door reaches back an extra 15 degrees, so seating and removing the pistol is easier. A new charging handle makes more surface contact with the back of the slide. You also get an aluminum top Picatinny rail, a spare magazine holder with its own catch and release button, and support for suppressor-height sights.
Suppressor and compensator ready, the kit clears a suppressor up to 1.38 inches across. An improved frame lock and spring speed up assembly and disassembly. Colors include Black, FDE Tan, OD Green and Tungsten Grey. Since a few states restrict these kits and we don't ship there, look up your local laws first.
