The CAA MCK Gen 2 conversion kit for the Ruger RXM brings CAA's Micro Conversion Kit to Ruger's compact 9mm. The MCK made its name on Glock pistols, and this version is listed specifically for the RXM. Your Ruger sets into the chassis without disassembly and comes back out in its original configuration.
The MCK grew out of CAA's Micro Roni line. CAA calls it the fourth generation of that design, with an aluminum barrel shroud over a polymer body, and describes the platform as lightweight and sturdy.
Here is what the chassis adds. Sights or optics ride on the top Picatinny rail. Side rails take thumb rests and other accessories, and there's room on the rails for a light, laser or grip. A built-in charging handle means you cycle the slide from the chassis, and you can still reach the exposed slide release directly. Spare magazine storage up front speeds up reloads, and the handling is ambidextrous.
