Product description
The CAA MCK Gen 2 conversion kit for the Taurus G2C, G3, G3C, G3X and G3XL covers five popular Taurus pistols with a single kit.
CAA describes the G2 and G3 series as synonymous with affordability, reliability and self-defense, and it built this kit on its Gen 2 platform. An improved frame lock and spring make assembly and disassembly easier and faster.
CAA lists eight advantages over the first-gen MCK. Among them are a rear door that opens 15 degrees farther, room for suppressor-height sights, a charging handle with more surface contact on the slide, and an aluminum top Picatinny rail. The spare magazine holder works with a mag catch and a magazine release button. The kit is suppressor and compensator ready, with clearance for a suppressor up to 1.38 inches in diameter, and it works with CAA USA's separately sold brass catcher.
As with any MCK, the pistol drops in without disassembly and comes out unchanged. Pick Black, FDE Tan, OD Green or Tungsten Grey, and note that all accessories are sold separately.
