Product description
Made for the APEX bullpup carbine conversion kit, Meta Tactical's 16-inch unthreaded barrel for the Glock 17 Gen 5 and Shadow Systems DR920 is the Gen 5 counterpart to the company's Gen 3-4 Glock 17 barrel. Confirm your pistol's generation before you order.
Use it to replace the barrel in a Gen 5 APEX setup, or keep it on hand as a second barrel.
Meta Tactical lists stress-relieved chrome-moly (CrMoV) steel, polygonal rifling and a black nitride finish for this barrel. The nitride finish is there for added corrosion resistance.
This unthreaded model comes as a bare barrel. The 1/2 x 28 threaded option is the one that includes a thread protector and muzzle device. Laws on conversion kits and their parts differ by state, and we don't ship to states that restrict them.
Questions and answers
Is this barrel for the Glock 17 Gen 5 only?
Meta Tactical lists it for the Glock 17 Gen 5 and the Shadow Systems DR920. Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock 17 pistols have their own Meta Tactical barrel.
Will it work in my Glock 17 Gen 5 APEX kit?
Yes. It is made for the APEX bullpup carbine conversion kit and listed for the Glock 17 Gen 5, so it serves as a replacement or second barrel for that setup.
What comes in the box with the unthreaded version?
Just the 16-inch barrel. The thread protector and muzzle device are included only with Meta Tactical's 1/2 x 28 threaded option.
Can I return it if I ordered the wrong generation?
New, unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. To avoid a swap, match your pistol's generation to the fit list before you order.
