October Mountain Strata 62 in. Longbow

You settle into the edge of the oak flat, arrow on the shelf, and wait for a deer to step inside your range. That close-in moment is what the October Mountain Strata longbow is built around. It is a 62 in. traditional bow designed to pair performance with a smooth draw, so your focus stays on the animal instead of the bow.

The riser is crafted from hand-selected cassia siamea and padauk woods, giving each bow a custom look. Black fiberglass limbs carry reinforced limb tips, and the Strata is Fast Flight string compatible. An inlaid October Mountain Trad Medallion finishes the riser.

A string is included, so you can brace it and start shooting. October Mountain recommends a brace height of 7 3/4 in. to 8 1/2 in., a useful range to start tuning from as you dial in arrow flight.

Choose from 35, 40, 45 or 50 lb. draw weights in right hand, or 50 lb. in left hand. If you are new to traditional archery, a lighter draw weight can help you build form before moving up. For a longbow that looks as good on the wall as it does in the woods, the October Mountain Strata longbow is worth a close look.
