When something moves at the edge of the yard after dark, you need to identify it before you do anything else. The Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount HP USB weapon light is built for that moment, throwing 2,000 lumens and 85,000 candela with a maximum beam range of 583 meters (1,912 feet).
The TEN-TAP programmable switch lets you choose from three selectable modes. Low mode gives 250 lumens and 11,500 candela with an 11-hour runtime, and strobe mode runs for 4.5 hours. Run it from the pushbutton tail switch, or use the included momentary pressure switch.
Power comes from the SL-B50 rechargeable battery with an integrated USB-C port. Slide down the body section to charge it inside the light, or pull it out and charge it separately. The indicator glows green when it is full, and a keyed design keeps the battery aligned.
The body is 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with a Type II Mil-Spec anodized finish, and the glass lens has an anti-reflective coating. It is rated IP67 waterproof.
