With the SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable battery pack, it puts out 1,000 lumens and 22,000 candela, with a beam distance up to 974 ft. Run a single CR123A instead and you get 500 lumens, 11,000 candela and up to 689 ft. That dual-fuel setup means a dead rechargeable pack does not leave you in the dark.

The dual-function tail switch gives you momentary or constant-on light, and the remote pressure switch lets you activate it where your hand already sits. Operation is ambidextrous, and a safe-off feature helps prevent accidental activation in a case or truck.

The body is anodized aluminum, the lens is BOROFLOAT glass for heat and impact resistance, and the light carries an IPX7 rating, submersible to 1 m for 30 minutes. At 3 oz, the Streamlight TLR RM 1 HL-X USB light adds little weight up front. This kit comes in black and includes the battery, switch, cable and mount.
