Tipton Best Gun Vise

You have the rifle back from the range, the rod and patches are laid out, and the last thing you want is the gun sliding across the bench while you scrub the bore. The Tipton Best Gun Vise gives you a steady hold for cleaning, maintenance and gunsmithing, so your hands stay on the work instead of on the firearm.

This gun vise is configurable for bolt-action rifles, break-open shotguns, AR15s and handguns. A central aluminum channel lets you move individual components where you need them, and each component adjusts for a secure fit on the gun in front of you.

At the rear, the base uses two offset clamps that adjust for a wide range of buttstock configurations. That matters when your safe holds a mix of traditional stocks and modern rifles. The vise is built to be extremely stiff, which helps the firearm stay put while you work.

Cleaning means solvents, and the Tipton Best Gun Vise is made from solvent-resistant material, so spills on the bench are less of a worry. It comes in grey. If you want one cleaning station that handles the whole gun safe, this is a practical place to start.
