Avian-X BA Backpack, Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Camo

The walk into the marsh before shooting light rarely goes in one easy trip. Shells, calls, gloves, a thermos and your shotgun all need to ride somewhere. The Avian-X BA Backpack is a waterfowl backpack built to carry that load so your hands stay free for the decoy bag.

It offers 1,600 cubic inches of space in molded EVA construction. A top-load upper compartment handles the gear you grab often. The front panel folds out to expose two large storage areas, so you can see what you packed instead of digging blind in the dark.

Ammo gets its own home. Two separate ammo bags hold up to 40 rounds each. External MOLLE daisy chain attachment points let you add pouches or clip on extra gear.

For the hike, adjustable padded shoulder straps and an adjustable padded waist strap help you dial in a secure fit. Adjustable weapon straps keep your gun steady on the pack. When the hunt ends, duck totes on both shoulder straps give you a way to carry birds out.

The pack weighs 2 lbs and comes in Mossy Oak Shadow Grass camo to suit grassy blinds and marsh edges. If you want one backpack that keeps a duck hunt organized, the Avian-X BA Backpack is worth a look.
