Product description
A gobbler hangs up just out of range, puffed and spitting, waiting for something to challenge him. The Avian-X HDR Strutter decoy gives him that something to come in and settle.
This strutting turkey decoy lets you set the tone. It comes with two interchangeable head postures, one red and one white, each with its own level of aggression. The injection-molded tail fan adjusts for a mature or Jake orientation, so you can present a dominant Tom or a youthful Jake depending on the birds you are working.
The details are built to hold up to a close look. Flocked feathers, realistic legs, a true-to-life paint scheme and feather detail, and a hand carved foldable tail section all work together. The decoy is designed for realistic movement without unnatural spin.
If you like to run a real fan and wings, the strutting wing pieces and fan remove easily for feathered substitutions. The HDR Strutter is built 15% smaller than real turkeys, and with the wings removed it packs into the included carry bag for the walk to your setup. For hunters who want one Avian-X HDR Strutter decoy that covers more than one scenario, it is a flexible piece of the spread.
