Product description

A longbeard hangs up just out of range, strutting and drumming, waiting for something to change his mind. The Avian-X HDR Jake decoy is built to be that something. This jake turkey decoy is sized slightly smaller than a real bird, but just big enough to make a tempting target for a tom looking to assert himself.

Its quarter strut posture and subdominant feathers tell a story a gobbler understands. This jake is content, but ready to fight if an opportunity presents itself. That mix of confidence and lower rank invites a dominant bird to come close and settle the matter.

You also get two removable head designs, so you can match the mood of the morning. One head has a curled, aggressive posture for birds that want a confrontation. The other sits straight and submissive for toms that respond better to a jake that looks easy to push around. Swapping heads lets you adjust your setup without carrying a second decoy.

If you want a turkey decoy that gives you options when birds act differently from one setup to the next, the Avian-X HDR Jake belongs in your vest.
