Bear Fred Bear Grizzly 58" Recurve Bow, Right Hand

There is a quiet satisfaction in drawing a stick bow, finding your anchor and watching an arrow fly with nothing between you and the target but wood, fiberglass and string. The Bear Fred Bear Grizzly recurve bow is built for that kind of shooting, whether you are practicing in the backyard or easing through the woods in fall.

This 58" AMO recurve uses a one-piece riser of brown hard-rock maple. The limbs are overlaid with clear maple and both backed and faced with high strength black fiberglass, giving the bow its classic two-tone look.

The Grizzly is a shoot-off-shelf design. The arrow shelf is crowned and cut on center, and it comes fitted with a leather side plate and a bear hair arrow rest, so you can start shooting traditional style without adding an aftermarket rest. The grip below is cupped with fiberglass.

A Dacron string is included with the bow. This listing covers right hand models in 30, 40 and 45 lb draw weights, so you can choose the weight that suits your strength and your shooting goals. If you have been wanting a traditional recurve bow with real wood and timeless lines, the Fred Bear Grizzly recurve is a straightforward place to start.
