Bear Fred Bear Super Grizzly Recurve Bow, Right Hand

You are settled against a fence row as the light fades, and a doe steps out at 15 yards. With a traditional bow, it comes down to a smooth draw and a clean release. The Bear Fred Bear Super Grizzly recurve bow is built for that kind of close, instinctive shot.

Bear uses two layers of lamination in the limbs, which the brand says makes for a better-feeling, better-shooting bow without hand shock. The limbs are backed and faced with black fiberglass, and the tips are fiberglass reinforced.

The riser has a crowned, cut-on center arrow shelf with a leather side plate and a bear hair arrow rest, a classic setup that lets your arrow slide off quietly. At 58" AMO, this recurve bow stays manageable in a ground blind or along a brushy creek bottom.

It comes strung with a Dynaflight 97 Flemish twist string. Pick the draw weight that fits you: 35, 45 or 50 lbs, all in right hand and brown. If you want a traditional bow with time-tested Fred Bear features, the Bear Super Grizzly recurve is worth a look.
