Product description

A target shows up close and moving, and you need your eyes on it with both open, not hunting for a crosshair. The EOTech 512 holographic sight is built for that moment, a 1x optic designed for close to mid-range shooting.

The reticle gives you two tools in one. The 68 MOA ring draws your eye fast when distance is short and time is shorter. The 1 MOA center dot lets you hold tighter when the shot stretches out. With 1x magnification, what you see through the window matches the world around it.

Controls sit at the rear of the sight, so they are easy to reach whether you shoot left or right handed. You get 20 daylight brightness settings to match the light you are working in, from overcast mornings to bright midday sun.

The 512 runs on a common AA battery, either lithium or alkaline, so spares are easy to keep in a pack or range bag. It is water-resistant to 10 feet and weighs 11.5 ounces.

Mounting is simple. This red dot style holographic sight fits a 1 inch Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail. If you want an EOTech 512 holographic sight with a straightforward battery and a reticle that works both up close and further out, this one is worth a look.
