EOTech EXPS3 Holographic Sight, Black, Danger Close Reticle with 1 MOA Dot

A target shows up close, then another sits out past the berm. The EOTech EXPS3 holographic sight with the Danger Close Reticle is built so you can handle both without changing your setup. This holographic red dot sight gives you aiming points for close work and longer shots on a .223/5.56 rifle zeroed at 50 yards.

The brand describes the DCR as offering aiming points for engagements at 7 yards plus shots at 50 and 200 yards with that zero, and a 1 MOA dot gives you a fine point when the shot calls for it. Windage and elevation adjust at 0.5 MOA per click, so dialing in your zero stays straightforward.

You get 20 daylight brightness settings and 10 night vision compatible settings. The sight is water resistant to 33 feet (10 meters) and rated to operate from -40F to 140F. The quick-detach mount sets up a 1/3 co-witness with your iron sights.

The EXPS3 measures 3.8 x 2.3 x 2.9 inches and weighs 11.2 oz. It runs on one CR123 battery, with up to 1,000 hours of life at a nominal setting. If you want an EOTech EXPS3 with a reticle that covers close range and longer distances on a 5.56 carbine, this black model belongs on your short list.
