The rail is lightweight anodized aluminum machined to Picatinny spec. You can mount a scope directly over the receiver, or run it forward for a scout scope or red dot. Underneath that optic plan sit all-steel backup iron sights.
The rear ghost ring is fully adjustable for windage and elevation and comes with two apertures, .230" and .191" inside diameter, so you can choose between a faster sight picture and a finer one. Up front, the XS White Stripe sight replaces the existing blade and ramp. Its white-on-black post is built to stay visible in all lighting conditions.
This lever rail fits the Marlin 1895 with a round barrel and the factory front blade and ramp screwed onto the barrel. It does not fit the 1895 with an octagon barrel. Installation requires removing the factory rear sight, and all screws torque to 20 inch-pounds.
