Product description
Your rifle is short, light and built to move, and a long scope hanging off the rail works against all of that. The EOTech Vudu 4-12x36 FFP Ultra Short rifle scope keeps the package tight at 7.1 inches overall and 16.9 ounces.
Because the MD5 reticle sits in the first focal plane, its MRAD marks hold their value at 4x and at 12x. You can read a hold or a range figure at any power, then dial with the capped turrets in 0.1 MRAD clicks. At 100 yards the field of view runs from 28.5 feet at 4x down to 9.5 feet at 12x.
Mounting is handled by an integrated base that works with most aftermarket mini-ACOG mounts. Up front, the tube section accepts an EFLX at the 12 o'clock or 45-degree position if you want a close-range dot riding along.
In dim timber or low light, a rotary dial gives you 10 illumination settings. A single CR2032 battery runs it for roughly 300 hours.
The housing is aircraft-grade aluminum, and the scope is fog, water and shock resistant. Eye relief measures 2.5 to 3.1 inches at 4x and 2.4 to 3.0 inches at 12x, so plan your mount position with that in mind. For a compact rifle scope, the EOTech Vudu 4-12x36 puts a lot of capability in a small footprint.
