Product description
A noise outside at 2 a.m. is not the time to fumble with a dial in the dark. The Hornady RAPiD Safe Compact Ready Vault is built so you reach your rifle or shotgun fast, while keeping it locked away from anyone who should not touch it.
Access starts with RFID. Hold an included tag to the reader and the vault opens, no combination to remember under stress. The safe is also Wifi enabled, so you can connect it to a smartphone app.
Security comes from a heavy-duty steel housing and five hardened locking lugs that hold the door shut.
The footprint stays slim. Outside, this gun safe measures 52.2 x 10 x 10 inches, plus 1.7 inches for the handle, so it fits in a closet corner or beside a bed. Inside you get 51 x 9.8 x 8 inches of space for long guns.
The SQUARE-LOK organizing system lets you mount the included gun racks and other SQUARE-LOK accessories in different layouts to suit what you store. The finish is black.
If you want a compact long gun cabinet that opens in a hurry, the Hornady RAPiD Safe Compact Ready Vault is worth a close look.
