Hornady SnapSafe GlideVault Handgun Safe with Slide-Out Drawer

When a noise wakes you at night, you want your handgun close, but you also want it out of reach of kids and curious hands. The Hornady SnapSafe GlideVault is a handgun safe built around that balance, with a spring assisted drawer that slides out once you enter your code.

Access runs through a tempered glass touchpad you program with a 4 to 6 digit code, and silent mode lets you open it without beeps. If the batteries run low or you need another way in, a barrel key or micro-USB port gives you backup access. Power comes from four AAA batteries, which are not included.

The exterior housing is 16 gauge steel with two internal hardened locking lugs, and the door is pry resistant to keep unauthorized users out. You can anchor the safe to a stationary object with the included 5-foot cable or bolt it to a permanent surface.

Outside, it measures 15.9 x 12.2 x 4.4 inches, so it fits under a bed, in a closet or tucked into a cabinet. Inside, 13.5 x 9.5 x 3.1 inches of space holds handguns and other valuables. For a low-profile home pistol safe, the Hornady SnapSafe GlideVault keeps things simple and secure.
