The target shows up fast and you need your eye on it, not hunting for a front sight. The Viridian RFX35 reflex sight puts a 3 MOA green dot on a 22 mm x 26 mm window at 1x, so you aim with both eyes open and stay focused downrange.
This green dot sight uses the RMR mounting footprint for compatible handguns, shotguns and rifles, and a Picatinny mount comes in the box along with installation tools. That gives you options for moving it between platforms.
Light changes from dawn to midday to dusk, and the dot needs to keep up. You get eight visible brightness settings plus two night vision settings. INSTANT-ON activation with user control helps keep the sight ready, and a 2-minute auto shutoff saves the battery. A single CR2032 is rated for up to 30,000 hours at middle settings.
The housing is 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with an IPX6 water resistance rating and an operating range of -4°F to 130°F. At 1.93 in x 1.16 in x 1.2 in and 1.0 oz, the Viridian RFX35 adds little bulk. Choose black or FDE to match your setup.
